Create, connect and celebrate our diverse borough through art.
We Art Wandsworth transforms the borough into a living canvas — a joyful, ambitious celebration of visual arts, creativity, and community. Across libraries, galleries, schools, studios, and public venues, residents and artists will create, learn, and exhibit side-by-side.
In 2025, Wandsworth becomes a place where everyone is an artist and every space can spark imagination.
Come make, share, and experience art with us.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
We Art Wandsworth is a borough-wide visual arts initiative developed for Wandsworth’s year as London Borough of Culture 2025. It brings together artists, community organisations, and residents to celebrate local identity and creativity in bold, inclusive, and accessible ways.
From exhibitions to workshops, from artist talks to community co-creation, the programme activates familiar spaces—libraries, schools, studios, community centres, and major cultural venues—to make art visible and accessible to all.
This project builds on Wandsworth’s thriving visual arts scene while expanding who gets to participate, where art can happen, and how communities connect through creativity.
