Diana, Nick and I met through Re:Create 2021, a scheme for people in the arts who live or work in Wandsworth.
Our short video, Children of Poseidon – Theseus Now, was prompted by climate change. It imagines parallels between the world of the 21st century and the myths and history of ancient Crete, inspired in part by the work of Mary Renault. It is an initial stage of the Surge project, which explores the beauty and threat of water in the era of global warming.
