The Fantastic Freddie Foundation

Freddie Lawer was an extraordinary young man who faced significant challenges due to his conditions of Cerebral Palsy, Spastic Quadriplegia, and Epilepsy.

Despite the obstacles he encountered, Freddie approached life with unwavering determination, refusing to let anything hinder his pursuit of happiness. Following his passing in 2022, the Fantastic Freddie Foundation was established to empower other disabled young individuals to embrace life to the fullest.

Digital portrait for Freddie

Having had the privilege of knowing and collaborating with Freddie for nearly a decade, I had the opportunity to contribute to shaping his unique identity, ‘brand Freddie’, encompassing various elements such as stationery, photography, digital portraits, and posters. Therefore, being entrusted with the task of designing the logo and brand for his Foundation was truly an honour.

Freddie’s remarkable spirit epitomised resilience and a fearless zest for life. Despite his disabilities, he approached each day with a “so what” attitude, refusing to be defined by his limitations. His rebellious and unconventional nature inspired the branding process, reflecting his bold and disruptive personality.

In honouring Freddie’s legacy, the Foundation’s logo and brand embody his indomitable spirit, serving as a testament to his unwavering determination to live life on his own terms.
